Neon workshop!
Have you ever wanted to make your own neon light sculpture? Well, now you can! I’ve wanted to offer this service for YEARS, but haven’t been able to until now. In the workshop we will be making (by we I mean you will be making with my guidance ;) an abstract GLASS (sometimes ppl get away with calling LED / plastic lights neon but we’re only about the good good real deal glass stuff here :) neon sculpture that lights up and can be hung on your wall or table or even as a floor piece of sorts.
My first piece was made in a class in NYC that I actually submitted to an art show in Rockaway beach! So fun! Yours can stay in the privacy of your home though, no pressure to submit to art galleries hehe
You might feel very proud you got into the fires (yes fire is how the glass is shaped by hand, if that makes you nervous I can help you! We will all however be signing a waiver so I can safely instruct you and also continue to teach others without incident)
